Yesterday, I was feeling a little overwhelmed and I decided to open up one of the many many pay what you want games I recently downloaded from itch.io at random. It happened to be Vestige, and it was perfect for just escaping for a little while.

I usually find escapism through games quite difficult, but this is an extremely peaceful walking simulator with minimal things to “do” - which to me is sometimes exactly what you need. It’s also incredibly beautiful. It sort of became a photography simulator, for me. Here’s my new desktop background.

Though I am also partial to the gorgeous orange trees.

I’ve never been much of a recommendation or even reviews person, but I can 100% suggest wandering through this gorgeous landscape for a while, listening to the birds, and uncovering some of its secrets.
