La Triennale di Milano

Today I have been exploring some beautiful spaces from La Triennale di Milano, once an art exhibition, now a collection of five games avaliable for free on Steam, Google Play, and the App Store.

They’re all worth checking out (and not just because they’re free) but Neighbor was my favourite: a gorgeous game about living in a desert crater, carrying out simple tasks, and building a friendship with the man who visits occasionally.

I spent an inordinate amount of time sweeping my low-poly house, meditating, and writing poems for my new friend Sam, who seemed confused but pleased. There’s nothing you have to do, but so much that you can do, creating an engrossing sense of calm. It’s definitely something I could see myself returning to for a breather.
